“Bachelor” star Ben Flajnik was livin’ large in Switzerland – we’re talking helicopter rides and hot tubs and wine infused cliffside picnics—when one of the girls he rejected turned up and rained on his parade.
Kacie Boguskie– Ben’s baton twirling Week 8 reject – showed up at his hotel room in Switzerland (she was in the neighborhood—really!) and warned him that if he picked Courtney Robertson, he would get his heart broken.
Kacie B. told Ben: “It seems like [Courtney’s] in this to win it, and she has made comments like, ‘If it’s not Ben, there are other fish in the sea.’”
This “shocking” news put Ben in a major funk. He quickly ushered Kacie out of his life for a second time, then told Chris Harrison: ‘I don’t really know what the hell is going on any more, Chris. After sitting down with Kacie, I’m confused and cloudy.”
Of his relationship with Courtney, Ben says: “I have lots of women friends, and there’s my mom and my sister, and it’s hard for me when I see those little things to wonder if I’m going to have that support when I get home.”
Indeed, Ben has spent the entire season trying to defend his relationship with Courtney, who spent her free time gloating about her weekly roses and making mean girl comments to the other women.
Ben to Courney: “I watched you and I noticed that at certain times you would kind of twist the knife a little bit, and I wished in those moments that you would have made it a little easier on me.”
But by rose ceremony time, Ben’s conflict was clearly resolved. He followed his heart – or whatever it was that he followed back in Puerto Rico when he and Courtney went skinny dipping—and he made his picks.
Courtney and Lindzi, welcome to the final 2!
So what do you think, Philadelphia “Bachelor” fans? Did Ben make the right choice or does he still have his head in the sand?
