For the past 13 seasons, countless of celebrities have been putting on their dancing shoes to dance for the show’s Mirror Ball Trophy. After countless of rumors, ABC’s number one dancing show revealed its’ new cast for season 14 on Good Morning America. Without further ado, here’s the new cast and their professional partners:
Jack Wagner & Anna Trebunskaya
The former General Hospital and Melrose Place actor will hit the dance floor with longtime Dancing veteran Anna Trebunskaya, who has put Jerry Rice and Evan Lysacek into the finals in their respective seasons.
Melissa Gilbert & Maksim Chmerkovskiy
T.V. icon and former Screen Actors Guild President Melissa Gilbert is competing this season on DWTS with the show’s bad boy Maksim Chmerkovskiy. Besides his ego that has gotten him in hot water with the show, his teaching has put Laila Ali, Mel B and Kirstie Alley in their respective season’s finals.
Donald Driver & Peta Murgatroyd
Super Bowl champion and Green Bay Packers icon Donald Driver will hit the dance floor with returning pro Peta Murgatroyd. Hopefully she will have better luck working with Donald Driver as her first partner: Metta World Peace was the first celebrity to be eliminated in his season.
William Levy & Cheryl Burke
The telenovela star known as “the Brad Pitt of Mexico” will hit the ballroom floor when the fourteenth season begins on March 19. He will partner with two-time champion Cheryl Burke, who won the show’s second and third seasons with Drew Lachey and Emmitt Smith. In addition, she has also helped Cristian de la Fuente, Gilles Marini and Rob Kardashian get into the finals.
Sherri Shepherd & Val Chmerkovskiy
The View co-host will make her dancing debut, as she will dance alongside Maks’ younger brother, Val, who returns for his second season. Will Val have better luck with Sherri than with his last partner: the icy Elisabetta Canalis? Viewers should tune in to find out!
Katherine Jenkins & Mark Ballas
Opera singer Katherine Jenkins may always hit the high notes when she’s performing numerous arias on a stage, but she will able to meet the rigors that Dancing with the Stars brings? Luckily for her, Mark Ballas will be her professional partner for this season and has won two Mirror Ball Trophies with Kristi Yamaguchi and Shawn Johnson.
Gavin DeGraw & Karina Smirnoff
The “I Don’t Want to Be” singer will hit the ballroom with his professional partner and last season’s champion Karina Smirnoff. Will he help Karina continue her winning streak or will they crash down under the pressure?
Martina Navratilova & Tony Dovolani
Tennis icon Martina Navratilova may have won 18 Grand Slam single titles and 31 Grand Slam women’s doubles titles throughout her career. But could she be able to add the Mirror Ball Trophy to her trophy collection? If there is one professional dancer to help her out it is Tony Dovolani, who helped Stacy Kiebler and Melissa Rycroft get into their respective season’s finals.
Roshon Fegan & Chelsie Hightower
Disney Channel star Roshon Fegan is this season’s youngest contestant. The 20-year-old will team up So You Think You Can Dance alum and returning Dancing with the Stars pro Chelsie Hightower.
Maria Menounos & Derek Hough
Access Hollywood & Extra correspondent Maria Menounos has always been interviewing the stars but now she will be one of the new cast members of Season 14. Her professional partner Derek Hough is no stranger to the competition, who won three Mirror Ball trophies with Dancing co-host Brooke Burke Charvet, singer Nicole Scherzinger and actress Jennifer Grey.
Jaleel White & Kym Johnson
Family Matters star Jaleel White will head to the Ballroom this season with his professional partner and two-time champion Kym Johnson. In addition to winning two Mirror Ball Trophies with Donny Osmond and Hines Ward, she has also guided Joey Fatone and Warren Sapp to second place finishes in their respective seasons.
Gladys Knight & Tristan MacManus
Four-time Grammy winner and the Empress of Soul will make her dancing debut as a member of season 14’s cast. She will be dancing with Tristan MacManus, who returns for his second season as a professional partner.
Dancing with the Stars will return for its’ 14th season on March 19.
