Yes, tomorrow is the date of the primary election in Springfield and the rest of Missouri. Christians and every American need to be ready to make their voices heard. You may be a Republicrat or a Democan and if you are you know which ballot to request. If you want to vote for someone in another party then you must ask for that ballot. Should you not wish to declare a party you may ask for the issues only ballot. In Greene County there are no issues on the ballot.
Many non-partisan voters will go and vote for or against one of the candidates. One of the reasons that Mrs. Clinton and Mr. Trump are front runners in their respective parts is believed by some to be cross over voters who are voting for the opposite party in the primary in order to put the candidate they think can be beaten on the November ballot. This could lead to the two main candidates being someone anybody else could beat.
How do you make the decision who to vote for? Decide what you believe needs to be done. Not in general terms, but in specifics. If you think there is a problem with taxes, all the candidates have an opinion. Ask how they will change the tax laws. What pay scale will pay more or less. Demand specifics.
If you want them to eliminate discrimination, forget it. The President of the United States has no authority over individuals. If they claim they will solve this problem, ask how they propose to do this. When the answer is not clear, ask them to clarify. Make the candidate you think you support speak specifically about the issues that are important to you.
The current rhetoric is more directed at why not to vote for the other candidates than why to vote for them. The best answer for why they should be elected is they are not the other person. It is time the choice is not the lesser of two evils. It should be between the best candidates possible.
As long as the majority votes along party lines and refuse to ask the tough questions and demand understandable, specific answers, this country will continue the way it has been going. If you don’t vote, you are one of the problems.
