Attention zombiephiles: Run, do not walk, to Las Vegas, where you will find the zombie mecca in the form of a little place known as the Zombie Apocalypse Store.
That’s right. One enterprising Nevadan has opened the definitive shopping center for “all things zombie” and “all things survival.” Given Denver’s overwhelming obsession with zombie pop culture, we’re utterly shocked that such a brilliant idea has yet to reach the Mile High City. Fortunately for us though, you can shop the Zombie Apocalypse Store online.
Check out Wired’s video interview with Zombie Apocalypse Store owner Mike Monko right here.
In the Zombie Apocalypse Store you will find everything from ammunition and bladed weapons to gourmet freeze-dried food to exploding zombie targets. Need a pre-packed backpack for zombie survival on a moment’s notice? Pick up one of their Grab N Go kits. Want to do some zombie-related research? Check out their movie section. Concerned about starving at the end of the world? Buy one of their 200-serving containers of survival food.
And if you’re more into zombie pop culture than zombie survival (you fool), then not to worry. The Zombie Apocalypse Store also stocks T-shirts, posters, books, and fun zombie paraphernalia. World War Z author Max Brooks even did a book signed there last year.
In short the Zombie Apocalypse Store is doing its part to prepare the public for the eventual zombie apocalypse. They deserve our admiration, support, and our worried glances.
Stay informed, stay alive: Visit the Zombie Apocalypse Store online, or make the pilgrimage to Las Vegas for a visit.
