It seems quite unique that a venue exists in Toronto, branded by a similar name to that of another venue located in the U.S.A, which features a small touch of disco-style Tropical music along with ALL genres of MIXED MUSIC, played as per patron’s special request (Top40, House, Pop, Dance, Retro, Rock, RnB)…on the 1st Saturday of every month, distinctly known as ‘The Bar With No Name‘ (click on link: www.TheBarWithNoName.ca) located at ……..1651 Bloor St. @ Indian Rd. just East of Keele St. across from the TTC Keele Subway Station (which has FREE parking on the weekends, also situated on a 24hr bus route)! This venue grants FREE admission to patrons on a Saturday! The next FREE MIXED MUSIC PARTY will be on Saturday February 4th, 2012 starting at 9pm, organized by ‘Empress Arlanna’ (Toronto’s FM radio show hostess / musician / vocalist / T.V. reporter / events promoter) and special guest DJ’s from the neighboring cities of London & Brampton including ‘DJ Jahlou & Masters of the Wheels of Steel’. The local clientele have enjoyed previous events at this venue, during which time their house was so packed that beverages were shared literally ‘down to the very last drop’ from those taps!
On a weekday, regular visitors enjoy playing a ‘trading card game’ Magic – The Gathering which attracts large groups to this venue. Spring and summer seasons enhance their open patio concept, especially in their spacious backyard! Please scroll down to continue reading.
‘The Bar With No Name’ creates an ambiance that is welcoming, inviting and perfect for socializing, while sitting, sipping and listening to a mixture of music from any genre, by special request! Some patrons actually get extremely excited when they are able to make a request for their favorite song to be played! The floor is open for dancing until the bar is closed! One might prefer to glance at the bar’s mounted T.V. screens, making oneself feel ‘right at home‘ in a cozy spot that mimics a ‘living room‘. Friendly bartenders and hostesses are always ready to make a memorable impression!
The DJ plays favorite tunes (by patron’s request), classics from the 80’s, not the usual rotations, rather, the real hits that are most commonly heard on the dance floors of Toronto! This is an environment in which all people can enjoy all genres of music and a FREE PARTY! These ‘tropical style’ MIXED MUSIC DISCO NIGHTS are enjoyed on the first Saturday of every month in 2012.
The entire city of Toronto is invited to attend this celebration of music. The question of ‘where to go’ has already been answered.
The options of ‘sitting down’ or ‘standing up and dancing’ have already been chosen. The rest, as they say, ‘is history’.
The Bar With No Name in Toronto (Ontario, Canada) is just another inexpensive, ideal way for anyone to have a great time.
