There’s a lot going on this week with several special presentations all leading up to the big game on Sunday. Of course, if you don’t like puppies, you can always tune in to the Super Bowl. Here are the highlights on TV this week.
MONDAY, JANUARY 30
‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills: Reunion, Part 1’ (Bravo at 9 p.m. EST/5 p.m. PST)
Andy Cohen sits down with the ladies of BH to discuss what might have been the most controversial and dramatic season in the franchise’s history.
TUESDAY, JANUARY 31
‘Inside the Actors Studio: George Clooney’ (Bravo at 7 p.m. EST/6 p.m. Central)
“Inside the Actors Studio” with James Lipton will premiere for an 18th season with a two-hour special presentation. Lipton will take Clooney on a trip down memory lane from his early TV days on “The Facts of Life” and “ER” through his current Oscar nominated work in “The Descendants.”
WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 1
‘Super Bowl’s Greatest Commercials’ (CBS at 8 p.m. EST/7 p.m. Central)
If you’re anything like us, you watch the Super Bowl less for the football and more for the half time show and the commercials. Well CBS is offering a pre-game look into the best ads for the big game. Viewers can vote on which one they like best and watch some sneak peaks of this year’s most anticipated spots.
FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 3
‘Who Do You Think You Are?’ (NBC at 8 p.m. EST/7 p.m. Central)
The third season of “Who Do You Think You Are?” starts this week. The show, which is executive produced by “Friend’s” Lisa Kudrow, follows celebrities as they trace their ancestry. First up is Martin Sheen who ends up taking a journey to Ireland and Spain to uncover facts about his kin.
SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 5
‘Puppy Bowl VIII’ (Animal Planet at 3 p.m. EST/2 p.m. Central)
Started as something for non-football fans to do on the big day, “The Puppy Bowl” points a camera at a group of frolicking young dogs as they display oodles of never-ending of cuteness.
‘Super Bowl XLVI’ (NBC at 6 p.m. EST/3 p.m. PST)
Broadcast live from Indianapolis, Indiana, the 46th Super Bowl celebration kicks off earlier in the day with lots of pre-game coverage. But the big event between the New England Patriots and the New York Giants is at 6 p.m. EST. Madonna takes the stage at halftime.
