Maple syrup fair in Rockville, Indiana
For an educational and tasty weekend, visit the Parke County Maple Syrup Festival. For two weekends February 25 and 26, and March 3 and 4, travel to Rockville, Indiana where the festival is held at the 4-H fairgrounds. The festival is open from 8am to 4pm daily.
Take the family and learn how maple syrup is made. Various producers of maple syrup will be on site to explain the process. You can also tour their camps to see hands on how the syrup is made. Local maps of the camps are available at the fairgrounds. The maps also provide locations of the covered bridges in the area, another claim to fame for this county.

A variety of cheeses, smoked ham, bacon and sausage is available at The Butcher Shop, located in the 4-H building. Purchase these savory delights to take home with you. In the commercial building, vendors have their wares set up for you to browse.
