When it comes to designer collections from H&M (think Lanvin for H&M from October 2010 and Versace for H&M from November 2011), there are three H&M stores in Toronto that host these coveted collections, which are also the largest H&M stores in our city – the stores from Bloor Street, Yorkdale Mall and Toronto Eaton Centre.
There are two more designer collections that H&M will launch this year – David Beckham for H&M and Marni for H&M. Both of them will be available in Toronto at the three H&M stores mentioned above.
David Beckham for H&M is a bodywear collection for men – shorts, pants, boxers, tanks, longjohns. It will be available starting with February 2nd 2012. The collection will be featured in about 1,800 H&M stores in 40 countries. David did the campaign ad, and he posed for H&M wearing the bodywear of this collection. It’s not the first time when David Beckham teams up with a fashion label for an underwear collection – he has done it with Armani in the past. The price range for the David Beckham for H&M collection is quite affordable – according to some sources, it will be between $9 and $15 a piece.
Marni for H&M is due to be released on March 8th 2012, and it will comprise apparel and accessories for both men and women. The collection will be featured in about 260 H&M stores across the world and online.
Currently, the H&M store from Bloor Street in Toronto till has a few items remained from Versace for H&M collection. The available items are some dresses and a few pairs of shoes, and they are on sale; their prices are reduced from $159 and $179 to $30.
