Tuesdays are tough for the avid TV viewer; there are so many excellent shows on – especially for the TV mom fan- so how do you choose? Even for a girl whose DVR is buzzing anyways, Tuesdays practically force mine into a meltdown. Inevitably something is forced onto the skipped list. So, fellow TV addicts, the question today is what’s on, and what should top the must-watch list for Tuesday, Feb. 28?
Let’s take this an hour at a time…
Here’s what we’re up against in the 8:00 p.m./7:00 c. time slot:
Switched at Birth on ABC Family
NCIS on CBS
American Idol on FOX (2-hour episode)
Last Man Standing and Cougar Town on ABC
The Biggest Loser on NBC (2-hour episode)
Switched at Birth, NCIS, and American Idol are getting the nod here with SAB having some foreshadowed bad news cropping up (plus some of our most favorite TV mom moments), NCIS is always a must-watch pick in this house, and American Idol is finally heading into the real deal with the top 24 finalists having been chosen.
If you’re still not on the Idol bandwagon, however, or it’s been on the bubble, keep in mind it is sucking up 2-hours instead of just one elsewhere. Personally, it pained me to okay the Cougar Town skip.
Our Tuesday 9:00 p.m./8:00 c. choices:
Dance Moms on Lifetime
NCIS: Los Angeles on CBS
The River on ABC
White Collar season finale on USA Network
Ringer on The CW
Here the choice is easier for this TV Moms Examiner given the beauty of the encore performance. Both Dance Moms and White Collar will air tonight’s episodes later in the evening on their respective networks. Rumor has it the the White Collar finale is not something to be missed. As for Dance Moms, I’ve been itching to see this week’s episode since the oh so intriguing previews aired last week. Abby looking guilty…That’s must-see TV all by itself.
Since Tuesdays are already buzzing around here, The River hasn’t even crossed my DVR’s radar, so it’s NCIS: Los Angeles for the win.
The Tuesday 10:00 p.m./9:00 c. challenge:
Unforgettable on CBS
Body of Proof on ABC
Parenthood season finale on NBC
All three are new episodes, but if you have to choose between the three, we are looking at the season 3 finale for Parenthood and all signs point to it being a great one. We’ve got a wedding to look forward to, the repercussions of an adoption gone wrong, and the fallout from a seemingly innocent handshake.
This one wasn’t such a fair fight; you know how we feel about Parenthood here in TV moms land.
So, what’s the verdict; what will you be watching tonight?
