Doppio Zero is a relatively new player on the Hong Kong dining scene — open less than a year now — but it’s already garnering the attention of the most recent Michelin Guide.
The restaurant name is Italian for double zero, a term used to describe top grade flour used in pasta making. Doppio Zero specializes in a variety of classic homemade Italian pastas, and a few Hong Kong inspired specialties you aren’t likely to find anywhere else.
Chef and partner, Jake Addeo, hails from New York City and was trained at the Culinary Institute of America. His resume includes stints at some renowned New York restaurants and even a stop at Michelin-starred Due Spada in Milan, Italy.
Doppio Zero is open for lunch and dinner Monday through Saturday and is located on the ground floor of The Pemberton, 22 Bonham Strand on Hong Kong island. For Valentine’s Day reservations, please call +852 2851 0682.
