Encouraging teens to write is the focus of an informative and inspiring workshop (Teen Writer’s Alley) being held at the Greenburgh Public Library on February 28th and February 29th at 7 pm. Think of all the creative possibilities that move around in those active teen minds full of imagination and questions. By attending this workshop, your teen could be introduced into a new world of self-expression and creative exploration. What a great opportunity for teens to learn about different writing styles and try new genres too.
Participants will be given the chance to read, write, and learn from valuable feedback during this collaborative workshop at the Greenburgh Public Library, located at 300 Tarrytown Road, Elmsford, NY. Every teen would benefit from this kind of “give and take” dialogue that hones writing skills and critical analysis. Your teen’s teachers would also agree that this kind of supplemental writing activity could hopefully give direction and energy to your teen’s writing. Writing homework assignments would also not seem as daunting to your teen anymore. At school and home, teens would enjoy writing as a healthy outlet for their ideas and emotions. Writing has been proven to be a wonderful way for teens to “get it all out” as they deal with the ups and downs of the teen years.
