This week Pro Wrestling Examiner has been profiling individual WWE Superstars who have the potential to win this year’s Royal Rumble match. So let’s put all of the speculation together and get a better idea of who is really in it to win it. Here are 5 superstars with the best chance of becoming ‘the One’ this Sunday at the Scottrade Center.

Randy Orton: The Viper is fresh off an injury on Smackdown. WWE would usually save Orton’s return for the Rumble, which make him a better contender to win it all on Sunday.
Orton has proved he can win it all like he did in 2009, when he won the Royal Rumble. This third generation Superstar also has a real problem in the form of Wade Barrett who laid him out a few weeks ago on SD throwing him down a flight of stairs.
Sheamus: The Celtic Warrior has been “on fire” according to Smackdown commentator Booker T who picked him to be the winner. Sheamus has the resume with two WWE Championships under his belt during his still very young career, and his recent switch to a fan favorite has gotten the WWE Universe behind him. Even my blog tag partner Rick Rockwell thinks he has the guts to win the Rumble.
Chris Jericho : Since his return on January 2nd, Jericho has been the talking point of the WWE. This past week on RAW, Jericho broke his silence and got everyone talking again. The interesting part of this match for Y2J is this will techinically be his first match back with the company, since he walked out on CM Punk and Daniel Bryan during a Six Man Tag Match two weeks ago on RAW. The question still remains what does he mean when he says he “end the world as (we) know it”?
Wade Barrett: The Barrett Barrage storms into St. Louis with some momentum with his recent fueding with Sheamus and Randy Orton. There is distinct possibility that all three of these men will interact during the Royal Rumble match. Barrett who has been an Intercontinental Champion and the first NXT winner, is a new star with some thunder behind him and the fact that he’s never won the Rumble gives him a unique chance to win.
Dolph Ziggler: Yes, the Zig Zag Man is already challenging CM Punk for the WWE Championship with RAW GM John Laurinitis tomorrow night on the Royal Rumble show.
Still there has been some talk of that this former Intercontinental and United States Champion could lose his WWE title match, and enter the Rumble later in the night. Ziggler win or lose in his match with Punk, is running hot as one of the biggest villains in the WWE. This Sunday is going to be a big night for Ziggler.
The Miz: The Miz had the number 1 entry in this year’s Royal Rumble put on him when he lost to R-Trtuh on RAW. Other men have won in this unlikely posistion before. Shawn Michaels won with Number 1 in 1995 and Ric Flair won the Rumble with Number 3 in 1992. It’s not impossible for the Awesome loud mouth Miz to go the distance and have a “i told you so” victory. There is a real story you can tell with the Miz spoiling the party for the WWE Universe, but the odds are clearly against him.
